President Donald Trump signed an executive order Monday classifying “illicit fentanyl and its core precursor chemicals” as weapons of mass destruction — though it was not immediately clear what practical effect that might have.
“Today I’m taking one more step to protect Americans from the scourge of deadly fentanyl flooding into our country with this historic executive order,” he said in the Oval Office, adding, “No bomb does what this is doing.”

The Venezuelan army is armed with modern weapons provided by the Russians, Koreans, Iranians and the Chinese, and it has a lot of jungles and mountains, and a big militia. There are several guerrilla groups which are willing to provide support to Venezuela, including the Colombian FARC. The Europeans are selling modern weapons to Colombia . I’d love to be optimistic, but we all know how this magical cycle goes: Maduro leaves the country with his loved ones, his suitcases… and, of course, all the money he managed to grab on the way out.
