ParticipantLeftwing "Quantativeasingist" surely Adam. Tories would never admit to a bit of Keynesianist reflation but a bit of QE? well you get the point. Quantativeasing always struck me as a good name for a porno move? Porno isn't anywhere near as obscene as Capitalism though!

ParticipantThere are a "few" men in America, who "own" the work of 10's of thousands of others at a time but these 10's of thousands of others do not/cannot "own" their work, because it has been "legally" expropriated by these "few" men. Men/Women who do not in/of themselves do any work, nor contribute in any meanful way, to the society the inhabit.A flea, tapewom, leech spring instantly to mind!!!

ParticipantAnyone else want "not to be Kine", with me and The Socialist Party?
steve colborn
ParticipantNo duncan lucas, it's not a step in the right direction. In fact it's another pointless blind alley. Syriza and workers are going one way, up the proverbial blind alley, and it will take them another while to extricate thgemselves from. Meanwhile, the wealthy will get wealthier, the poor poorer and more disallusioned, and Capitalism will continue not to give a fuck about the majority. After all, there are plenty of cattle for the slaughterhouse. Problem is, this kine fights fucking back. All it needs is enough of us to do this, and our betters are fubared. We must, however, fight back in a class conscious, considered way. While we are expected to "storm the barricades", we will ever so quietly, sneak in and dispossess the arsewipes. That is, when we have the class consciousness, understanding and collective will, to do so. Until then for worker, read "Kine". Everyone "get" it?

ParticipantFirst correspondence of the Election campaign in the Sunderland Echo. Although they've missed out in the address that I'm contesting Easington Constituency as a Socialist Party candidate; Nothing Marxist about LabourSORRY Mr Brown (January 13) but you go too far. You state: “Yet we face the same Marxist, ideological driven agendas under Ed Miliband”.However, you ignore the important fact that Ed Miliband is not a Marxist, nor is his brother, nor was his father Ralph. Moreover, Labour has never advocated, much less instituted, any policy or legislation, that even the most rabid right wing supporter of capitalism (or left wing supporter for that matter) could in any way link to Marx. Marx advocated a classless, stateless, exchangeless world society, where the statement “‘From’ each according to ability, ‘to’ each according to need” was the driver and moreover, that this societal change could only come about, when the majority understood it, wanted it and, most importantly, cooperated to bring it about. Nothing, I repeat, nothing in the writings of Marx advocated anything that could in any way be linked to Labour. Those who continue to claim otherwise can charitably be called confused or mischievous, more seriously, deliberate political wreckers and liars.Steve Colborn,Seaham

ParticipantQE is Keynesianism. A short, or supposedly short term injection of funds into a monetary system that, as the theory goes, will be removed before any inflationary pressures build up. That was Keynes theory anyway. As members of The Party know only to well, if the injection coincides with an upturn in the general economy, then Keynes ideas are supposed to be seen to work, if not, its another static target for the economically clueless. For economically clueless, read everyone who still think Capitalism can be controlled. Or as I term them, fucking morons!!!
steve colborn
ParticipantThese cannot be real people surely? They are all economic illiterates and plainly missing a few odds and ends in the mental faculty department. But what did I expect from folk who put any credence in The Adam Smith Institutute?

ParticipantContacted the site myself. Spoke to a member of this site and asked them to change the name to; The Socialist Party (GB).I would expect someone from HO to contact them also, to change any other "inapproprate" listings.
steve colborn
ParticipantSo we, as a Party, are being dictated to? Somehow, that seems wrong!
steve colborn
ParticipantHi there Dave, I wasn't aware that I will be standing under the Title, The Socialist Party of Great Britain. I thought it was GB!

ParticipantA letter sent to the Sunderland Echo today. G Whitter, Echo Thurs 22nd Jan, is the latest correspondent to the Letters Pages of the Echo to misrepresent what "Socialism" really is.It isn't Nationalisation, nor can it be placed, or enacted within the boundaries of a single country. Socialism is and can only exist, within a world wide framework, to replace world wide Capitalism. It is a system of society, where what is produced, will be produced for direct "human use", not as at present, to be bought and sold for profit, for the benefit of a few.The means and instruments for producing what we, as humans need, will be owned by "us all" in common and as we all freely contribute to this production, we will all freely take of the resultant bounty. The above can be best summed up by the quote " 'From' each according to 'ability', 'to' each according to 'need' ".None of the above, nor indeed the many other ideas which encompass the Socialist ethos, can be linked in any way, shape or form to Labour, nor countries such as China, Cuba, N.Korea, nor indeed the old USSR. These were and are, supporters of Capitalism and share the classic indicators of the same.Just because some place false large ears and a trunk on an dog, it does not make it an Elephant. If it barks like a dog and growls like a dog, I've found it invariably is a dog!A lesson G. Whitter, J. Watson, M. Brown et al would do well to heed!!! Steve Colborn. 0191-5817830Prospective Parliamentary Candidate,The Socialist Party.

ParticipantLets put it this way Duncan, when these oil deposits are exploited, who will be the recipients of this bounty? Who are the recipients now? who have been the recipients in the past? Not the "Scottish" people, but the shareholders of the companies doing the exploration! If oil is found off Wales, who will be the recipients of this bounty? not the people of Wales, but the shareholders of the companies doing the exploration"!!! Do you get it now? Do you get the fact, that we, the vast majority, have no claim, nor entitlement to the wealth of the world? To mineral wealth that was laid down hundreds of millions of years before the Capitalist parasites or their forebears even existed? But by dint of violence, threatened or used, they have garnered this wealth (that should rightly belong to all humanity) to themselves, and use our kith and kin, to protect their minority THEFT of that which should belong to us all!!! Do you not, GET IT?
