In 2010, his manifesto flagship policy was, The Big Society May 2010, he promises to put green issues at the top of the agenda, making his govt. the greenest ever. 2011, following riots, a broken society is top of his political agenda. 2012, Olympics in London will give Britain's economy a £13 billion boost 2013, reportedly tells his aids to, "get rid of all the green crap." 2014, fracking will boost the economy. 2014, money no object for flood relief.  24 hours later a No.10 source confirms, no extra money would be found. Professional liar comes to mind

Fracking good post, Alan.  It clearly demonstrates how fracking is environmentaly polluting and injourous to human health, therefore, socially unacceptable. The risks to our water supply, the environment and public health are all well documented and yet, still, the British Govt. iskeen to endors fracking.  Sociopath ( dictionary. com);    a person with a psychopathic personality, whose behavour is anti-social, often criminal and                                                        who lacks a sense of moral responsibility, or social conscience. The mad- man has the keys to the asylum !

Vin,  if you dig out those Oxford notes, challenging government claims that the mines were uneconomical, let us know if there isany mention of a "nuclear levy."  Apparently "unprofitable" British Coal paid money to our Nuclear Industry, to help them balance the books. So it was hardly suprising, when in 1990, with the pits dropping like nine-pins and the Nuclear Industry losing it'sanonymus benifactor, that the government taxed the public with a "nuclear levy," raising the average electric bill by 11%.

You can add the N.H.S. to that list. My children's tory pediatrician and dietition were prepared to risk my children's health to get me back to work. Oh, I have some painful memories of that strike.

A Universal Basic Income. I need someone to explain how this might work. Surely the Global Market is fueled by the exploitation of cheap, non-union labour?

As Cde. Maratty pointed out himself in post (# 22)[ I should point out that the video was a "test", it only took a few hours of work,…] A"test" that worked well, I would say. This is exactly the type of imagery that opened my eyes to the barbarity of the Worldspolitical hierachy. Audio and visual propoganda has long been a tool of the State. Why ?  Because it works well and the State, through, Newspapers, Cinema, Radio and T.V., have unchallenged dominian. One's personel dislike of the likes of John Lennon or Russel Brand, is immaterial, publicity is what they give us, and our voice needs to be heard. So keep up the good work, Cde Maratty………… and I think it is about time you came in, out of the cold!ps. my favourite anti-war song is;     "The Green Fields of France" sung by The Fureys & Davey Arthur.       (written as" No Man's Land", by Eric Bogle)

Ed, or perhaps I should say "BIG ' Ed", Just look at the title of this topic, " Is there, "Something wrong with the party's case and/ or it's methods. We have people here, ( a rejoined member, and an ex-member, on the verge of rejoining ) trying to make constructive suggestions, of how we can better connect with the public. Nothing threatening, nothing abusive. And you come on with thisunacceptable attitude. You have been warned about this before, more than once. I was sitting, filling in my membership application form the other day, when HollyHead made his scathing remark. Now I find youand your contempt, just too much. Socialists should not be talking to Socialists like this. Is there perhaps a mole in the party, some trusted member, destroying from within ? I would not be in the same building with you, let alone the same Party Oh, I looked at the videos, and they are perfect, just the stuff we want to hear, and I am sure SocialistPunk, and TheOldGreyWhistle, will agree. Don't bother to reply, I won't be here to see.

Yes HollyHead, would you like to clarify that remark. Just who were you refering to, Social Punk, and OldGreyWhistle. There is a lot riding on your answer. As far as I am concerned, these two guys care and are trying to be constructive.

Hi Gnome,                   probably a bit of misunderstanding on my behalf, here. I assumed "belief" to be acceptance of a statement, or fact,       I looked up "belief" in my dictionary, after your reply, and the description was anything but meaningful. Must buy a new one.  I bow to your superior knowledge.

Hi Gnome, what I say, is that belief comes from knowledge.

So for the 4th or 5th time nowWhy do you consider that the creation of the universe is a religious question rather than a scientific one?

Hi ED, Just love your sence of humour. I don't think I have ever considered the creation of the Universe to be a religious question, although I have been in the "dock" solong, I may have. The whole point of "The Religion Word" was to bring to the attention of the party, that there are people out there, potential party members, who have a belief which should not bar them from membership. Do I believe the creation of the Universe is a scientific question ? You bet your bottom dollar I do, 100%
