I frequently come across the exact same response from the Left when such NGOs as Human Rights Watch criticises Nicaragua or Venezuela or China. I’m immediately accused of citing a biased Washington-friendly faux human rights group yet as you say they will happily resort to its reports on other issues such as Palestine.
I still honestly don’t know about the legitimacy of the White Helmets in Syria.

UK government is cutting links with the National Union of Students because of concerns about anti-Semitism. Universities minister Michelle Donelan said it meant the NUS would not be eligible for government funding.
I didn’t know the NUS was funded by the government. Won’t be a problem if it collapses as being president of the NUS is one traditional pathway to becoming a Labour MP.

ALB, the article link points out that at present the NUS is not in receipt of any government funds. It is a pre-emptive gesture to ‘smear’ the NUS as institutionally anti-semite, a similar tactic as done with the Labour Party.
The theory of the Great Replacement has also been blamed on the Jews. The Buffalo shooter is a supporter of that theory. It has been the opposite way, the white peoples replaced all the Mexican in the South-West
