The Labour MP Margaret Hodge condemned his remarks. She said: “To suggest our fight against antisemitism on the left means that we are all part of a conspiracy to smear Corbyn is frankly absurd and of itself antisemitic. This consistent failure to understand and distinguish between our Jewish identity and the complex Middle East political issues is at the heart of why Jeremy continues to be outside the Labour party.”
Liz Truss has set out a plan to “protect British Jewry” from “creeping antisemitism” and “woke culture” in the civil service, while praising Jews for holding values such as protecting the family unit and setting up businesses.
Truss also challenged whether schools were doing enough to educate pupils and teachers about antisemitism and claimed she would rid university campuses of anti-Jewish hatred.
At the same time, she set out her own view of Jewish values, saying: “So many Jewish values are Conservative values and British values too, for example seeing the importance of family and always taking steps to protect the family unit; and the value of hard work and self-starting and setting up your own business.
What a stupid thing to say but typical of her. Imagine if Corbyn had said that all Jews want to become petty capitalists. What about the vast majority who are wage-workers and whose aspirations are no different from any other workers — and whose interest is to get rid of capitalism.
I wonder whether there won’t be a backlash against this.
The leftists think that all Jews in Israel are capitalists and all the Palestinian are workers and they do not have a ruling class. Israel has many foreign workers from others countries obtaining low wages and there is a wide spread poverty in the whole nation, both Palestinian and Jews are poor wage slaves and both have a ruling class. They need binoculars
The backlash against that unspeakable woman over this has begun:

Besides being a purveyor of antisemitic “tropes”, Truss is a first class hypocrite. She is known to want to move the UK embassy to Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and denounces her civil servants as antisemitic for advising against this (how her civil servants must hate her). On Ukraine she shouts that Russia must be seen to lose as not losing would set a precedent that state borders can be changed by force and so is a threat to the rights-based international order, etc, etc, blah blah blah. But when Israel changes its internally-recognised borders by annexing East Jerusalem, the Golan heights, parts of the West Bank, that’s ok. Israel has done everything Russia has.
Israel originally blamed the deaths of civilians on Jihad missiles falling short which was widely reported in the media.
Now the truth has emerged.

In October, Israel labeled as terror groups Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, Al-Haq, the Bisan Center for Research and Development, Defense for Children International–Palestine, the Union of Agricultural Work Committees, and the Union of Palestinian Women Committee. A few days ago Israel raided a number of their premises.
The EU found the allegations unsubstantiated and resumed its funding of them.

But the veracity of Israeli government claims will often go unchallenged by the media.
