Macron and Starmer should enlist as privates and be put on potato-peeling punishment duty.

” NATO military chiefs are due to meet on Wednesday to discuss the details of potential security guarantees for Ukraine amid efforts to broker a ceasefire to Russia’s offensive.” Al Jazeera.

The Alaska summit saw Trump agreeing that NATO wouldn’t be involved in this.

Born in 1960, I never came across as many stupid people as I have since the 2000s. Basic things, such as some sense of historical sequence, and the location of areas of the Earth, are now specialist subjects, as is a decent vocabulary.

Be prepared to see the chucking of Friday’s “satisfactory” meeting with Putin. Zelensky is all smiles. Back to square one by the end of this week!

He is yet to face the storm from Graham and the Senate when it reconvenes next month. Plus, Zelensky is taking political reinforcements from Europe with him to his meeting with Trump.

Which is what Leninistas, Maoists, and conspiraloons try to do. (When they succeed, their tyranny is worse!)

“At least my friend (biting a copper’s wrist while rolling on the ground) is doing something! What are you socialists doing?”

Violence part and parcel of conspiralunacy.
A flat-earther told me “We need to be armed”, while a leftist said “We must kill all the capitalists.’
I explained that even if you killed every capitalist and every politician, capitalism would remain the system of society. She just humphed me and walked away.
(She now believes humans lived alongside dinosaurs 4,000 years ago, and told me to study the facts. The flat-earther put my denial of the Earth being flat being due to my being a recluse. “If you got out and about, you’d know the Earth is flat, instead of wasting your life reading books!”)

Yes, and no nattering about “democracy” and “freedom” either. Just brazen grabbing.

” In regard to the backing of Israel to Russia, it is not new that capitalists have made temporary alliances in order to advance their own geopolitical interests, the western powers and the soviets made temporary alliance with the Nazis, the fascists, and the soviets, and then they became enemies.

The question is what are going to say those groups who support Russia against Ukraine, or vice versa, and the groups that support Iran against Israel ? That is the importance of taking an independent socialist stand.”

And earlier: the Pope supported the Protestant William of Orange against the Catholic James II.

“… Trotskyists and Leninist groups who also support that theory instead of supporting the socialist logic.”

Of course, Bolshevism is all about punishments and “identifying individual enemies.” Just look at Mao’s “Cultural Revolution”, based on blaming individuals and punishing them. No materialist understanding at all!

The reason for such beliefs as Sadean villains behind the scenes is that believers are not materialists.
Idealism is the belief that ideas come first, out of thin air and without material antecedents.
It is the old “battle between Good and Evil” where everything has to be a manufacture. Where everything is guilt and sin.
