workers had received a 2.5% pay rise at the start of the year, and would receive a further 2.5% increase in 2023.

Only 17% of surveyed German Catholics said they agreed with it, compared to 58% who oppose it.
13% of Protestants were in favor of the anti-abortion statement. Over two-thirds of Protestants disagreed with anti-abortion comments made by Pope Francis and Catholic leaders.
