KeymasterShouldn't this be in another part of the forum, reserved for internal discussion of the WSM.

KeymasterAnd here is a story very much closer at homehttp://www.digitaljournal.com/pr/2910843The Zero Carbon Food Company has done just this having set up a production system on a vast underground tunnel system below Clapham High Street. What was once used as a refuge in the war is now an elaborate underground farm which oversees the production of "microgreens", chiefly herbs and salad leaves using hydroponic system.

KeymasterMouvement Communiste adds their critical analysis of Nuit Debouthttp://mouvement-communiste.com/documents/MC/Leaflets/BLT16024ENVF.pdfHave we got too high expectations of a protest that admits it is on a learning curve?Or are some commentators with more insight seeing through the rhetoric and posturing?

KeymasterBBC Daily Politics video with Paul Mason debates Peter Taffe. People will be partisan when watching this, so many points raised that we shout at the TV. But time for another letter to correct the BBC on the name of Militant.

KeymasterOur Africa related blog posted on this several days agohttp://socialistbanner.blogspot.com/2016/04/a-broken-heath-service.htmlIt is a pity people don't place comments on our blogs to add to their content and interest

KeymasterI was out of the party at the time but i did hear that those members that went on to form Socialist Studies expressed homophobic sentiments. Not sure if this is supported or not? Maybe some can reply.

KeymasterWhat i find galling is that Socialist Studies members are in possession of much that is of value to the archives of the Party and have no intention of placing it into our safe-keeping. Some of their articles are informative and present the socialist case well enough. Shame they don't get a wider circulation. But how would it affect the hostility clause to post some on our blog? And how would they react if it was done without attribution.Whatever happened to Richard Cummings, BTW? Does anybody know?Without recruiting new members, Socialist Studies will simply die off. Hmmmm…who has been saying that will be our own eventual fate, i wonder.

KeymasterOh, and a final thought. I don' have the answer. You don't have the answer. But i think if we indulge in some collective group think and hold a special dedicated conference , it will be closer to an answer

KeymasterOh, i should add we were a SOCIAList Party . On Friday and Saturday nights we met in the same pub, one frequented by many politicos and petty-criminals (plus Princess Margaret although she never drank in the public bar but rather the Oyster Bar). We went around the pub (and nearby ones) selling the Standard and getting involved in all arguments and banter (with one another too). It was over few pints that i acquired my political knowledge and reading lists. I mentioned the football team elsewhere. We were a political presence in the City, bigger than the IS (as the SWP was called at the time) and out-doing the SLL (as the WRP was called) and the IMG. Militant was still mostly hiding in the dark in Labour Party and the Trades Council. It was branch of autodidacts. Just like many other branches. We didn't recruit in universities, we were the road to university.
