The leader of Israeli terrorist group, Menachem Begin, later became Israels Prime minister.
Just tweeted that maybe Hamas are doing the same, it worked fine (terrorism that is) for Zionists.

Before the creation of the state of Israel, he was the leader of the Zionist militant group Irgun, the Revisionist breakaway from the larger Jewish paramilitary organization Haganah. He proclaimed a revolt, on 1 February 1944, against the British mandatory government, which was opposed by the Jewish Agency. As head of the Irgun, he targeted the British in Palestine.[3] Later, the Irgun fought the Arabs during the 1947–48 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine and, as its chief, Begin was described by the British government as the “leader of the notorious terrorist organisation”.

Thanks. Mrs Thatcher knew that and was reluctant to shake hands with him as a former terrorist who had ordered the killing of British soldiers but she had to for diplomatic reasons when he was became Prime aminister of Israel and visited Britain. She didn’t like it and always had disdain for the man.

Here’s the front cover of the September 1982 Socialist Standard, the last time the Israeli government (Begin was prime minister) ordered the Israel Attack Force to do this sort of thing — flatten parts of Beirut and hold the ring while they let a Lebanese Christian militia slaughter Palestinians in the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps. This time they are doing their own dirty work. Read the article called Holocaust2. It could be reproduced almost word for word today.

    No. 937 September 1982

Begin took the money for Nobel Peace Prize in 1978 and then 4 years later presided over the bombing of Beirut. I don’t think they asked him to pay it back.

Several leftwing organizations were attacking, the Socialist Party, calling us hypocrites, fake socialists, and many other derogatory terms because the SPGB has 1.3 in equity on a property that has not been sold, therefore, we do not have the cash flow in the bank,( anybody with knowledge on finance, banking or accounting know that ) and real estate properties are subjected to the instability of the market, but Chris Hedges which is one of the darling of the left is worth more than 114 millions and none of those organizations do not say anything about it, and did not ask him to donate any money as our opponents were saying about us, like we are a church or a charitable organization, typical petty bourgeois social democrats conceptions, and a clear indication that they do not know what socialism really is, socialism is not based on the distribution of property like they are doing in some third country who themselves socialists

When he was a journalists ( or correspondent ) covering South America and Central America he supported all the terrorists and stalinist/Maoists/Castroists organizations from Ecuador, Honduras, Colombia and Nicaragua and called them the liberators of the workers,( as Ronald Reagan called the Taliban )and all the leftists groups applauded his writings, but they were just guerrillas fighter supported by Stalinists Party and financed by Cuba ( the Soviet Union ) and China who also wanted a piece of the action in the USA backyard, and he was applauded by Noam Chomsky too because he is an anarchist that supports state capitalism and the stalinist state of Cuba, Castro and Chavez, but there was not any class analysis about the real situation which were confrontation among capitalists and later one their real purposes were shown and they were kicked out by the workers from the spheres of the state and the other sector of the capitalist class were the winner

The Stalinist communist party of Bolivia which was supported by the soviet did not want to provide support to the guerrillas group directed by Che Guevara ( he was left alone, he had contradictions with their leaders ) because the Soviet Union did not want to enter into contradiction with the USA and also he was also raising critiques against the soviet and cuban state capitalism, his grandson who was an anarchist wrote about those events on his public forum. All groups represented capitalist interests

All those groups later on became part of the state and part of the ruling class, they were not liberator, they liberated one ruling class from the domination of another ruling class, and then they made alliances with their old enemies, as the Vietcong has done with the US capitalist class

Now he is supporting Hamas which is another terrorists organizations supported by Arabs capitalist and in certain occasion they were financed by Israel and the USA, and again giving opinion without any class analysis, taking side with any group in this conflict is taking side with the capitalist class, this is a conflict between capitalists and the left has always taken side on inter capitalist disputes, and then they come with mea culpa and rectification

The so-called heroes of the left always end up supporting one side or one sector of the capitalist class, as well he has supported the capitalist class of Russia. There is not any fascism/Nazism, those are false theories created by stalinists and trotskyists who see fascists and all world events but they never see they own support to fascism, dictators, criminals and the dictatorship of one party, in any country where there are multiplicity of political party fascism/nazism can not exist, and all right wing movement can not be associated with fascism

Capitalists and pro capitalists are always cheating each others, and sometimes workers take those issues as their own personal problems. Some of the money for the reconstruction of Iraq was stolen, and some money for the war in Ukraine was also stolen

At least they got to demonstrate even if they were censored and self-censored on what they could say.

    This was interesting:

“Many speakers, Arabs and Jews, talked about the fact that there are millions of Arabs and Jews living between the river and the sea and that the only solution is to have full human rights and equality for all.”

That’s an idea. If the demonstrators in Britain were to chant “From the river to the sea” followed not by “Free Palestine” but by “Full political rights for all” that would put those who want to ban the slogan on the defensive. It would then be a democratic rather than a nationalist slogan.

Of course it still wouldn’t be “the only solution” — socialism would be — as it would still leave capitalism intact but it would be a step in the right direction.

They lived in peace and harmony for more than 900 years without any problems. If they remove from their brains the stupid nationalism and a piece of rags known as the flags, they would be able to do it again, and that is the only solution

The war is taking its toll on Israel’s economy

“The war with the Hamas terror group is costing Israel at least NIS 1 billion ($269 million) per day and is poised to take a bigger toll on the country’s economy than previous conflicts, according to a report by global ratings agency Moody’s based on an initial estimate by the Finance Ministry.” And, in particular, that 18% of the workforce has been drafted in (the report doesn’t mention lost Palestinian labour, but that must also be a factor.

Also, a small overlooked fact, apparently 200,000 Israelis have been displaced from the border area.
