BD – “Do you think that Hitler, Churchill, Stalin, Tojo, Saddam or Roosevelt would have accepted complete defeat without going for the final option?”

And Putin is already being pushed toward that. And NATO isn’t backing off.

How can Putin even resign or face an election again, unless his own party wins, without fear of arrest? He can only resign if replaced by another of his own party, or at least an anti-NATOist.

Would he not opt for nuclear war, thinking he and his family have a bunker, if the alternative is to lose the presidency and be arrested?

BD – “if a conventional war broke out between NATO and Russia (which won’t happen for lots of reasons, but mainly because it would escalate to a nuclear conflict very quickly.”

Are you saying both sides will forever back down from it through fear of nuclear war?
But what if Putin continues to be denied a way out and NATO keeps backing him into a corner?

So everyone, from the puppy and new-born baby to the old farmworker whose home is now a pile of rubble, is a Nazi.

Bet you think the bombing of Dresden was wonderful too?

Even Putin doesn’t pretend to that.

“You are not socialists. You hate socialists and every socialist government that has ever existed. Just like liberals do.”

And you support inflicting misery, cold, mutilation and death on masses of people because you say the top government brass are Nazis. So much for your “socialism.”
The workers are 99% of the world’s population, so to say we care about nothing but …
Lastly, “socialist government” is a contradiction in terms. Government implies a state, and a state is for a minority to oppress the majority with. So your “socialists” are a minority oppressing the workers, as in the USSR and China. You are, frankly, ignorant.

Everyone i’ve spoken to takes great offence at the idea that they are wage-slaves. If you mildly suggest that they’re a wage-slave, say goodbye to any amity or solidarity.
If you call them, with yourself, a member of the working class, they walk away in disgust.

And the nuclear meltdown from the cutting of the electricity will also affect the Russian soldiery and the separatists too. So what does Putin care about his own troops?

Makhno was a peasant and his language is a peasant’s language. Add the violence he had to contend with, and we shouldn’t judge him by today. It is unfair to do so: as unfair as the nationalists’ misrepresentation of him.
