Yes ALB and jond, I must concur with your sentiments. I was probably a tad injudicious in my use of language, for which I apologise. Given the nature of the system these people support, it is hardly surprising they provoke this kind of reaction, even from overly seasoned Socialists like me.I will take more care in the future. Thank you for your helpful comments.Steve.

By defition, those who belteve in "old labour values", are not worth their salt.  Lets get real here and say this is Bullshit!OLV are what has continually got our class into the cesspool we inhabit now.Fuck OLV, lets put Socialist and working class values to the fore. If these pieces of filth want to debate this point, lets debate, they will lose.If need be and I.ve done multiple meetings on Labour party history, I will debate with them. Steve.

I agree Brian. We are not here merely to find Socialists but to use arguments to "persuade" workers that it is in their interests. To find people who are already thinking this way is, to say, obvious. To persuade people Socialism is in their "personal interests", (and there are more of the latter than than the former), is the problematic thought that should be occupying the minds of Socialists.YFS,Steve.

Admin and I clearly mean what I say, you are taking the piss. You are clearly and unequivocally showing what is wrong with this whole affair. Moderate me, ban me, or whatever else you have in your "locker", I don't give a monkeys piss, you are totally out of order. This is, "totally" out of order! Comprendai? Understand?

Reading this thread, is like trawling through treacle. Why has OGWs post still not been allowed. No prevarication, no bullshit! If he is still in a "moderation queue"  why is this the case? How long does this retrogressive action continue for? Can you tell me how long, OGW will be under this, "moderation queue"?A cogent and sensible and moreover rational apply would be appreciated.Steve.

I remember reading a standard quite a few years ago, in which a letter from Lincoln to the Southern states was cited. He explicitly stated his intentions were not to get rid of slavery. I will try and dig up the quote. Steve.
