Brand, regardless of his faults and they are many, has done one thing, brought talk of "revolution" onto the agenda. That isn't something that has been to overt over the years, now is it?This letter in the Guardian, from Steve Coleman, just about sums it up!http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2014/oct/27/russell-brand-and-questions-raised-by-rich-revolutionaries

Black Blob needs a serious image makeover, then he can concentrate on the bollocks that comes from his keyboard. Then and only then, I may and I say in all seriousness, may, take him seriously.

Hi jdw. Do you really consider Owen Jones as "Class Conscious"? Not a very class conscious thing to do, join an overtly pro Capitalist political party like Labour? However, I digress. I have a lot of time for both Brand and Jones, even with his dubious links to Labour.Jones, each and every time I have heard him, has proved himself erudite and learned, with a grasp of anti Capitalist argument, plus the ability of the quick and clean put downs to the usual apologists for the system, (notwithstanding his Labour links). Bland, on the other hand puts the case in another way. More impassioned and emotive, and dare I say it, down to earth. The Party, IMHO, wouldn't be harmed by being associated, at this time, with either of these two. Owen would need to read up on the Anti-Working Class history of Labour and leave the con men behind. Bland would need to cut down on the theatrics and histrionics.

around a hundred people occupied the shop only three years ago in 2011. Wow, Fortnum and Masons must have really gone back in quality, for no occupation this year. Their product must be shite

Not a fucking chance. No matter what Dave (Ihave looked after a disabled father and son, but on a fortune of millions, so I feel your stress and pain, so you can't preach to me) Cameron tries to con workers!! The useless piss bag.

Well, I've sent a PM to Mod1 re off topic on this thread but no action has been taken. The title of this thread is not, "a cafe in HO" but "Designs for proposed new Head Office signage". That I have had to raise this "complaint" in thread, is appalling! I should not have to have even brought this to the attention of Moderators! It is such an obvious and blatant infringement of Forum guidelines. If I get a a warning over this, for not letting the Moderator do his job, (when he is'nt and hasn't) then that will be a farce!!! I've sent Mod1 a message and nothing done. What am I to do?

On another news programme Sam Bowman, he of the Adam Smith institute said, "if the disabled wanted to work for £2 an hour, they should be allowed to and they should be subsidized by the state".With ideas like that, I wonder how long the ASI will take before they boot the loon out the door. Adam Smith, subsidies, just doesn't go together does it.

Read the article. However, thats Capitalism. Do you think the big pharma company's really want a cure for Cancers? Every patient cured, is a cash cow out the door!

Theres nothing wrong with you mate. Sometimes, getting stuff like this out in the open, either by talking or writing it down helps. It's a kind of cathartic experience! I can relate to much that you wrote, as I'm sure, can many others. So we're not a bunch of crazy revolutionary bastards, but the majority "are" a bunch of delusional, conned lemming's, thats for sure!

This is the problem with the so-called "Left Wing". Their arguments are all constructed and centred within the strictures of Capitalism, not as is ours, on an alternative vision of how society could be and how man could live, really live.As I was watching the Channel 4 news, I only wished that "I" was the disabled person giving their reaction. It would have been totally different from the affrontary and umbrage expressed by those who were there. It would have been a dispassionate analysis of Capitalism and putting the case for a sane, rational world! Where disgusting shit like this, would just not happen.

Cameron in one of his replies to Miliband, said as he had a history of disability in his family, (disabled father and son) he would not be preached to on the issue! However, fuckwit Cameron just doesn't seem to get it, that there is a world of difference looking after a disabled father or son, whilst on the minimum wage or benefits, as opposed to doing the same as someone with tens of millions of quid in ones bank accounts. The tosser just doesn't have a clue.
