Thinking about it more, wouldn't it be better to go with Socialist Courier's 'Neither Holyrood Nor Westminster'?http://socialist-courier.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/neither-westminster-nor-holyrood-but.html

ah ok. so they printed your correction almost in entirety. It wasn't necessary for them to introduce the SPGB though.

They were talking about Militant Tendency (SPEW) in the original so none of the descriptions used applied to us. Their correction corrects this.

The Times correction did not say we were left-wing.

I like Finkelstein too but I believe Finkelstein also supports a two-state solution in Israel-Palestine, open to be corrected on this though.

The following correction appearedPublished at 12:01AM, June 30 2014We reported a claim that the Local Associations National Action Campaign (Lanac), an alliance of left-wing activists within the National Union of Teachers, has links to the Socialist Party of Great Britain (Left plotting union takeover, warns ex-teachers’ leader, June 28). The party involved is in fact the Socialist Party, a quite separate group. The Socialist Party of Great Britain has asked us to make clear that it has no interest in using trade unions for political purposes.the original article online digital archive has also been corrected

Socialist 'electoralism' though I hate this description and would rather use something like 'suffrage', doesn't start or end with the SPGB.

'guardians of our peace' contradicts the collusion that happened in Northern Ireland 'The Stevens Inquiries concluded that the conflict had been intensified and prolonged by a core of army and police officers who helped loyalists to kill people, including civilians.' Someone who served in Northern Ireland should be familiar with this. I'd say that is more degrading than harsh words. As for 'free speech is what our (sorry) my armed forces are there to protect.' That was not the case either with the Public Order Act (Northern Ireland) 1951.Whether these facts will convince any readers there I don't know.Would you be interested in posting on libcom.org/forums/? You might find more common ground.
