ParticipantAccording to this, the Trump administration is pursuing the same policy of restoring manufacturing as long advocated by the trade union movement and Labour Party leftwingers here.
————————————————————————————————————–They are dreaming about a past that is already gone and it will not comeback. The old days when the USA ( and England ) was an industrial powerhouse, and it was the master of the universe is already gone, and its domination around the whole world is declining, and it is isolating itself
During Trump first term some companies comeback, or establish a dual status having factories in the USA and factories in China, but that situation has been eliminated too by China, and also this time Trump is a lame duck, he is one time president and he can not be elected again only if they change the constitution or establish himself as a dictator thru an executive order, and probably, the democrats and some independents groups are going to win the next partial and presidential election
Moving factories from China, Vietnam or Mexico cost a lot of money, and it takes time to be done, and due to the uncertainty of the Tarif many companies are not going to take the risk by moving their operations, they would prefer to stay where they are located and based on a global economic there is not such thing as a national economy, in some way, the USA is only an assembler
That is only the pretext, it is all geopolitical and it is part of the confrontation between the USA and China, and China is holding the frypan by the handle, and their tentacles are extending all over the earth, and they are monopolizing more than 85%
of the mining of rare earth which is needed for modern production

https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2025/04/09/wwkv-a09.htmlThe USA government paused the tariff for 90 days and wants to negotiate with every individual country, it does show that many corporations are not going to move the operations without been sure that the tariff is going to continue. The USA has imposed tariff to several countries that are having commercial trades with China

ParticipantContradictions within members of the capitalist class . Ellon Musk against the so called economic adviser of Donald Trump
It is not only Musk vs Gates, it is Ellon Musk against them. The tariff war is hurting the profits of some members of the capitalist class, some members of the capitalist class voted for it, but they did not expect that it was going to be against against all capitalist countries
Ciudadano Del Mundo
ParticipantThe economic crisis existed before the Tariff. The real crisis is over production. When the shit hits the fan it will spread all over

ParticipantAre they really prepared to survive in their underground bunkers? They’d have to take proles with them to breed post-nuclear generations of wage-slaves to try and mould a semblance of capitalist society in a post-nuclear toxic wasteland. A ludicrous notion if there ever was one. Or do they envisage an underground existence in perpetuity?
———————————————————————–
They are not safe either. There are Bunkers buster bombs that are able to demolish any kind of concrete and metal structure. They were used in the war in Iraq and many peoples were killed
Ciudadano Del Mundo
ParticipantNow all governments are going to blame their economic problems on Trump tariff war.
The economic crisis existed before the tariff and their own governments had tariff tariffs too
They are going to impose austerity plans on the working class

ParticipantTHE TRUMP OFFENSIVE
Trump has been back in office for less than a hundred days, and while the charge he is leading is unmistakable, its destination remains uncertain. The two texts that follow are attempts to make sense of what is being set in motion, and what that reveals about the current configuration of political and economic power. Both reject the idea that Trump marks a rupture in American priorities. Instead, they trace how long-standing tendencies in U.S. statecraft — toward authoritarianism, militarization, and social demolition — are being sharpened and accelerated. Chaos is deliberately being created for the purpose of reorganizing governance and geopolitical alignment around the shifting needs of capital.

They can organize thousands of protests and marches and they are not going to hit the Piñatas in the proper place, the problem is not Trump, Ellon Musk, Fascism, lack of patriotism, the Russians, the so called Deep state, or to impeach a president
The problem is capitalism, and the capitalists can replace their own clowns for another clown, or another one of their puppets, they have a lot at their disposition willing to manage their political apparatus
More than 77 millions of workers elected those representatives of the capitalist class and they blindly believe that they can resolve their problem which is totally false, and either one them ( Trump, Kamala, or Biden ) was the same and they are also puppets of the capitalist class
The liberation of the working class will be obtained by the working class, we do not need presidents, leaders, senators or state ministers, or vanguard party to lead
That illusion about the government of the peoples by the peoples is just a capitalist fallacy, and we do not need government either, there is any relationship between democracy and governments.
At the present time the whole US working class ( and other parts of the world ) is completely divided by racial hates, nationality, and ethnically origin, without class unity we are not going to obtain any positive results, there are workers who are enjoying the miseries of others workers because they are been deported, they do not belong to the so called homeland, and nations are just imaginary divisions created by the ruling class.
We are too far away to understand those concepts and the concept of class struggles has been completely hidden, it does not exist, on the contrary, workers are supporting class conciliations with their own rulers

ParticipantIt looks like Marx and Engels were influenced by difference sources, the concept of socialism/Communism did not come out from their own brains without the influences of external sources, even more, Engels wrote that socialism was a product of the working class, and several ideas expressed in the Communist Manifesto already existed in the working class movement, it does show the actual ideological retrogression of the world working class. As someone wrote: During prior epochs workers used to said: Our socialism, and their capitalism, now they are saying: Our capitalism

ParticipantIt is pathetic to see that millions of wage slaves have supported their own miseries. Millions of US workers are dumping their own working class benefits obtained after years of struggles, repressions and death including the reforms obtained thru the civil right movement, pensions and medical services, the poor against the poor, workers against workers Those actions will only benefit their own exploiters, they are the winners and the workers are the losers. As Warren Buffet said: There is a class war and my class is winning the war, and he is totally correct
The real taxpayer and financier of the state is the capitalist class. Pension is deferred salary and a continuation of the class struggle, and they impose a heavy load on the profits of the capitalist class, and a bunch of workers without class consciousness think that they are part of the state when they can not even buy groceries, pay their rents, utilities and medical bills, surviving paycheck to paycheck and getting closer to bankruptcy, the same thing is the so called national debt which is also the debt of the capitalist class, and wars are also financed by the capitalist class, and bank and corporation bail out are also financed by the capitalist class. The state is only the executive apparatus to manage the affairs of the capitalist class Capitalism is their society, it is not the society of the working class, our real future is socialism/communism, but we have been drugged with the fallacies of the bourgeoisie ideology.
House GOP Advances Budget With Over $1T in Cuts to Medicaid and Food Stamps
The so called peoples representatives are just servants of the capitalists class. When workers are going to learn about the real logic of this society ?

ParticipantThis time the capitalists are not going to lower their profits rate, they are going to pass the tariff or the import duty tax to the consumers, despite all that, tariff is not a working class issue. Workers in many parts of the world are marching behind their own exploiters and defending the interests of the capitalist class, including USA, Canada and Mexico who signed a free trade agreement, which also shows that capitalists can violate their own accords and treaties
Ciudadano Del Mundo
ParticipantToo much noises about the losses in the stock market, but it is all fictious capital, it is not real capital that comes from the economic exploitation of the working class, most workers do not know that they are exploited at the point of production, but now the new brainwashing is that workers must elect rich peoples because they are not corrupted, therefore, the corrupted one is the working class.
