Dave I was sincere – my tongue was not actually in my cheek as a moderator. I won’t stand for abuse – not sure why you would question this? I think we all know what amounts to abuse, we don’t need a committee to agree the definition of abuse. But thank you for your kind wishes, I do appreciate them!

PaulaIf Paula made a spelling error that is not very important, the importance issue is the job that she is going to perform, and in this party we had never had a woman as a moderator, ( but during the war women played an important role in this party ) and in certain occasions women have more courage than men. like in Colombia where a bunch of women built their own city because most of their husbands are dead

I’m sure MS is more than capable of speaking for themselves but I have to admit to being disconcerted at finding such unsubstantiated terms used on this forum. If it was supposed to be humorous I’m afraid the joke completely escapes me.

The spgb should discuss personal matter of other members in private, as it is done at the marxist Leninist organizations, and I know that because I was a member of that movement and a member of a central committe, and a Cadres, After I spent years working for the socialist party, spending my own money for the party, working in other forum for the party, receiving threat from right wingers, some were attacking me, that is reason why I did not request to be the moderator of this forum, and I have many years of experiences as a moderator and I can work full time, and I have free time I prefer to be independent and be my own moderator, and also I do not like to receive orders from anybody, my boss died 55 years ago
I am working on my own personal servers, and two fiber optic internet, and I bought three expensive apple desktops computers, and two Sinology, one of them cost me $6,000 dollars, and the other cost me $4,000 dollars, in order to spread the conceptions of the party and I am planning to form a companion party in another country and I have forgotten the personal attacks and I still continue working for the party and I became a member again.
The internal discussions of a political party should be private, we can have enemies and agents that can harm other peoples, I have seen that, and I saw many comrades been killed, I went to the funerals of several of them, I am not a liberal, I believe in the class struggles, and the class struggle is dangerous, it is not child play
I worked for the Marxist Humanists and the SLP and other organizations in different countries bigger than this one, and I will always remember them because they treated me pretty well, but since I encountered this place I have found problematic and racist peoples, those that were attacking me should have requested to be a moderator of this forum, and work hard for the party, and work full time for the party. I took an early retirement in order to work for the party and I closed my office, and I sold my house to have less expenses, I do not think that those that were attacking me will do that. I will always remember Adam and Matt ( I will him Matt millions of time, and that is my own fucking problem ) because they have always respected me.
The motion that I opposed was defeated by members of the party, and some old members left the party too, and those members also worked hard for the party

If they really apply the rules there are several peoples that should be kicked out including members of the EC committee which some ex members call It the central committee and some have left because of them, and there are some that act like leadersA suggestion, perhaps we show a little bit of comradely support for Paula as a new moderator.
Could we all just try and attempt to keep it civil at least for a few weeks until Paula and others get a handle on things.
Petty point scoring (and I am guilty of this as much as others) doesn’t really do us any good.
I also often think that the bickering that occurs in the forums would be forgotten and dismissed, if they had occurred on a Saturday night over a few pints (or cappachino’s to include the hipster element).
Perhaps realising that we all say stupid things and giving people a bit of leeway to allow them to withdraw, apologise or forgiving them for making stupid contributions (especially me when the pubs have just shut)
Thank you Bijou. I live in hope that everyone does remain civil – something that’s easy to do for most of us here, most of the time – and I want us to live in peace with each other. We can safely attack ideas and arguments but there is no excuse for personal abuse. I sincerely hope that I won’t have any work to do as moderator.

PaulaLizzie please do not make any more personal attacks on this forum. You have accused Marcos of being sexist and a misogynist without any reason as far as I can see, based on his recent posts.
It is fair to attack a person’s ideas but you haven’t done that – you’ve simply attacked the person. Similarly it’s fair to point out spelling mistakes but you should not accuse the wrong speller of being pathetic.
We are all friends here I hope.
