I don’t think so! Actually, what we are talking about is the principle of the party in power bringing politically-motivated charges against their opponents. I know it’s difficult, perhaps it’s even impossible, to separate this principle from the Trump case since most decent-minded people can see what an obnoxious character he is and wouldn’t mind seeing him behind bars.
The “Democrats” like to think that they are occupying the moral high ground but they are not. They are down in the swamp with Trump and the rest of the professional politician who all believe that the end of holding and keeping political office justifirs the means.
The history of the USA is very complex and it must be read in order to be understood, and the past is very well related to the present, many things that are taking place now, they also took place in the past, and several so called laws used now, were also implemented in the past, and the apparently division among members of the ruling class is not new, it has existed since the formation of the USA as a capitalist republic.
The whole history is a mythology and only a few historians have described it properly, and they want to remove their books from libraries and the education system, and those books are not school textbooks, therefore, most peoples do not know the real history, in other countries most peoples know more about the USA history than the USA citizens, and viceversa most USA citizen do not know the history of other countries
The concept of MAGA is not new, it does not belong to Donald Trump, he took it from the old concept of America First, which has also been invoked by Joe Biden and Barrack Obama and it has been used by Democratic and Republicans in different occasions, as well, the law of the doctrine of discovery it is also part of the US legal system, the president of the USA is like an English king surrounded by a political Congress and it was a constitution drafted by slave masters and slave traders including Benjamin Franklin, and Haiti had a similar constitution and many USA slaves escaped to Haiti because they had better legal protection

The insurrection act has also being used according to the historical conditions, and to obtain political and economical gains, and it is the act that Trump wanted to use in order to stay in power, but it has been used by democrats and republicans against the black slaves, against workers strikes and to avoid the insurrection of workers against the economic system, as well, it has been used for the segregation and to desegregate too, it is also an ambivalent law, like the Second Amendment which allow white peoples to use and carry gun but it was not allowed to be used by the Indians and the black peoples, even the Comancheros ( weapon traders ) were taken to jail or killed and they were whites.
When Kennedy was assassinated MalcomX said: “Chickens came home to roost”, and he was attacked, but he was telling them the true, because whatever is being done openly inside, it has been done outside too, the USA has killed political opponents in others countries, they have also taken to jail political opponents using the legal system, they have made electoral frauds in many countries, they have violated the constitutions of many countries, they have bought politicians, they have created death squad to kill political opponent, like the squad in El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua, the Condor Operation, they have removed presidents like in Honduras, in Brasil, Peru, Dominican Republic, Haiti ( they deported Aristides and he is Haitian ) in Puerto Rico they killed Albizus Campus.
They have said that the president of Venezuela was elected by frauds, but they have made frauds internally, and the father of JFK did several political maneuvers removing senators to obtain the winning votes for his son John F Kennedy, the ex president of Brasil was removed from his post by legal maneuvers, it is a legal coup, and Lulua was removed from the electoral process and he was placed in jail in order to elect Bolsonaro and the white christians supremacists of Brasil, and Lula won this time because he had to make alliance with everybody.
With this new legal maneuvers they want to show to the workers that the legal system works, and it is all a lie, even more, the impeachment of Donald Trump did not include the real crimes that he committed because some Republicans and Democrats senators committed those crimes too, and the so called coup of January 6, there are some senators involved from the Republican and Democratic side who also supported it and the members of the military apparatus, the legal system, and the secret service are involved, they have only placed in jail the peoples from the bottom who did not have proper legal representation, but trump has been able to spend more 100 millions dollars in legal fees paid to predatory lawyers but a public defender can not make that amount of money, and some lawyers should have removed the professional license and they have not done that. The history is long.
The policy of the SPGB/WSM is that we do not support any government, any politician, any president, any inter class dispute, and we do not support the lesser evil like the left, therefore, for us placing or not placing a politician in jail will not make any difference, the greased machinery of the capitalist mode of production will continue operating with or without them, and the legal system is based on legal and ilegal crime
JFJ who was a democratic president and he asked several to presidents to resign or to be killed and several of them were placed in power by the USA government or the military, or thru intervention, or military or palace coup, the president of Honduras was removed in underwear and pajamas from his house and he was elected by the majority of votes, and several USA president have been elected by minority votes
The Democratic Party originally was the party of the slave owners and the Ku Kux Klan and te racists politicians and Malcom X asked the Afro American to avoid voting for the Democratic Party and to stop voting for anyone of them, and then they switched to support the so called minority groups based on their own political and economic convenience, and Republican Party was the party of Abraham Lincoln.
When Joe Biden was president he collaborated with Obama on several coups, and alliance with the Talibans, in the same way that Ronald Reagan made alliance with the Colombian drug dealers to get money to buy weapons for the contras, and it has been discovered that he made certain political maneuvers in order to eliminate his opponent who was Jimmy Carter and he made alliance with the Iranian ayatollah
When Joe Biden was vice president along with Barrack Obama they also did a lot of legal and criminal maneuvers in different countries and internally, and Hillary Clinton was part of the removal of Zelaya in Honduras to avoid the market expansion of Venezuela thru Panama going to thru Central America which is a route needed by the USA capitalist class.
The problem is not Joe Biden or Donald Trump, the problem is the capitalist system

Well you certainly meet the person spec
The point is to demonstrate that the Democratic Party is not a working class political party as they pretend to be, and those so called socialists who are collaborating with the Democratic Party are also collaborating with capitalism and the us ruling class, even more, there are some members of the DSA who want them to be removed from the DSA membership
