ParticipantDon’t forget the environmental holocaust and the increasing likelihood of an armageddon that will wipe out life on this planet, never mind you and your ten cars.

Ever considered than humanity has the potential to overcome the challenges nature throws at us.

ParticipantWhich is why capitalism must be done away with. It is driving us to destruction. We cannot resolve things if we are unaware of how to do so.
Under capitalism the Earth is not humanity’s to save, but is the property of 1% only. Hence the resignation that is instilled: “The climate is spiralling and we must adjust.” “War is coming and we must prepare.” We are passive onlookers who can do nothing about these “inevitables.” Socialists say we can and we must. We must expropriate the capitalist class and so release humanity’s energies to solve things. But that can’t be done until humanity becomes humanity, instead of 1% parasites and 99% wage-slaves under their yoke of capital accumulation.-

ParticipantIf you agreed, you’d be a socialist, instead of baiting us for fun.

I think our ideas of ‘socialism’ are different. I’m happy with that.

You know where we stand on Socialism. Here’s our Object and Declaration of Principles.
Where do you stand? What are your “ideas on socialism” that you are “happy with”?

You must be bipolar, or are you joking around? Before, you said that you do not want to be a socialist, and now you are saying that you have a new version of socialism. Thousands of reformist bourgeois trends in this world call themselves socialists, and they are only agents of capitalism; one of them is democratic socialism, created by the opportunist Edward Bernstein. This place is for serious discussions,

ParticipantI’ve told you what I think. I’m not constantly repeating myself. Nothing I’ve read (so far) has convinced me to change my mind. If you want to resort to insults and innuendo then that’s your choice. I’ll let you have the last comment as I don’t think we’re getting anywhere here.

ParticipantIn this forum, we have had many potential teachers who, in the end, became students. The Socialist Party has been explaining and discussing the real concept of scientific socialism/communism for more than 100 years.
True socialism/communism is based on the materialist conception of history; anything deviated from that conception is not socialism.
There are thousands of trends calling themselves socialist who are only attached to the capitalist mode of production, and they will never lead the working class to its real liberation.
If we place all those so-called socialist trends in a blender, we will obtain the same juice, and the same taste: They are Capitalist movements, like all the variations of Leninism

ParticipantNationalism is the vehicle used to divert the working class. In parts of the world where religions are still strong, nationalism wears religious garb; in secularist parts, like Europe, it appears as itself, or as “freedom” and “democracy.”
The more secularist regimes in the Near East, Iraq and Syria, were obliterated by Western secularist regimes supporting Islamist extremists who were also enemies of Iran.
——————————————————————————–
The new president of Colombia is an atheist and supports violence, and for political opportunism, he converted to Catholicism, and he was supported by religious people ( catholics and Protestants), including the USA nationalist Christians, but he talked to them about traditional, conservative, and authoritarian values. The Communist Manifesto indicates that with the development of capitalism, traditional values would be eliminated. The problem is capitalism, but they do not know that
