I didnât say it was the only reason for war, in this instance itâs about Oil.
Venezuela has not been invaded! Why has the US imposed economic sanctions on Venezuela? Ostensibly, Venezuela nationalised its oil industry (calling itself socialist and it âsocialismâ) and believed that it could trade its oil for goods and services, getting around Bretton Woods, to avoid being paid in US$. The $ which isnât worth the paper it is printed on.
Worthless, since the US ended the link with the gold standard and exchange of the US dollar, for gold. The US has imposed sanctions on countries that have tried to get around the Bretton Woods Agreement. Using a number of reasons, sighting Venezuela for ousting its rightful Leader in a âsocialistâ coup.
If any Country is of the belief that they can get around trading Oil in anything other than the US$, it will face the full wrath of (US) economic sanctions. It wonât be the US that tanks-

ParticipantThe law enforcement official seems more sympathetic towards the killer, than the victims.
Most people have bad days.
Most people donât kill 8 victims when they have a bad day."Yesterday was a really bad day for him and this is what he did" — a law enforcement official explains Robert Aaron Long's decision to kill 8 people in a strange manner pic.twitter.com/u0zFcqjbNK

ParticipantThe link is a very long read đ„”
These Metropolitan Police covet (cypher) cops. Jumping on Facebook (more recently Tik Tok) videos that feature police officers âgoing about their businessâ.
Who would say? âwhy are these people who were saying donât blame all (Afro Caribbeans) because of a few but say it about police?â. Question who is blaming all because of a minority?
Think we have the answer right here!
Maybe cops should just stick to helping old ladies across the road, even if they donât want to cross the road?On a more serious note. Pictures of a Metropolitan Police officer went viral on social media, because he was seen with his neck on a mans neck, known as the âchoke holdâ. I didnât know he later died. Thereâs a âcampaignâ #justice4mohamud. Seems his family have received no support whatsoever from authorities.

Iraq was not invaded because they want to trade with Euros
âââ
This may be deemed off topic.
It was, but not openly. The Bretton Woods conference agreement established the U.S. dollar as the world’s reserve currency.Venezuela tried to trade oil for food, with Mexico, this wasnât part of US trade sanctions. The deal was for 200 million tons of food, which didnât happen. As the US blacklisted the Mexican companies involved in the deal, which then collapsed, as it was a deal to trade in Venezuelan oil.
Iran also wants to trade oil in Euros. US sanctions placed on Iran, are based on its Nuclear enrichment program, which Western governments fear is intended for developing the capability to produce nuclear weapons. Clearly the latter is a sop for the former. If Oil is traded in anything other than the petrodollar, the US economy would tank. The US, will use the threat of economic sanctions or impose economic sanctions, sighting the Bretton Woods Agreement (which ALL OPEC abide by) which gives the US total legitimacy.

ParticipantAJJ. Good article. Great minds think alike. Mentioned on Facebook about the police killing of Jean Charles de Menezes at Stockwell tube station. The death of teacher Blair Peach by the SPG Unit (Special Patrol Group, since disbanded) in Southall on a rally against the Anti Nazis League. The weapon (a mental cosh) was found in a police locker, only used by the SPG. But there was no evidence to who owned the weapons?
I posted on Twitter (Transphobia*) that women are second class citizens……Levi Bellfield and Robert Napper, who police failed to arrest, (missed the chance to arrest) leading to the murder of more woman. (Wimbledon Common and Walton on Thames.) Unfortunately, the Womenâs Day protests in Mexico, where Government figures suggest at least 939 women were victims of femicide in 2020, I didnât get to tweet about these horrific murders on Twitter because of time.Iâve been replying to tweets that Couzens (prior to being charged) is innocent until proven guilty and you canât tarnish all police…..
This didnât apply in the George Floyd case……ALL Afro Americans were seen as culpable as George Floyd!
The same didnât apply to the 3 boys and the manslaughter of PC Harper. ALL Roma people were just as culpable. Letâs keep the same energy.
As the UK is no longer in the EU, and come under the European Convention on Human Rights, a case canât be brought at ECHR in Strausberg. Can this new amendments of the bill be put before the Courts? Which Courts?
