Musk dropped more hints over the weekend about ways he’d make Twitter more profitable, now that his $44 billion acquisition of the social media platform is complete. Internally, employees continued to speculate about widespread layoffs, two employees told TIME.
Musk’s reign at the company so far, one employee said, exhibited “textbook dictator tactics: sow[ing] fear and confusion.”
