Iain McKay takes us back to Spain in the 1930s where anarchists occupied the factories and the land, to make a revolution at the same time as fighting Franco’s fascists. And within that revolution, the women of Mujeres Libre fought also for the liberation of women.
Iain McKay is the author of An Anarchist FAQ and editor of Property is Theft! A Pierre-Joseph Proudhon Anthology and Direct Struggle Against Capital: A Peter Kropotkin Anthology. His latest project is editor of Peter Kropotkin’s final work, Modern Science and Anarchy.

They should not call it a revolution They just wanted to establish a bourgeois democratic republic.  Many workers killed each others
