 May I deal with the EC's criticism of the video: “The EC recognizes the efforts behind the video but is unwilling that it be adopted as an official party publication. Criticism of the video include its generally unprofessional and clichéd presentation such as that it is ineffective in getting the socialist case across. For example among other things the use of overly “dramatic” music, the appearance of cartoon capitalists, the emphasis on individual rather than a class approach.” Not to mention the demonisation of individual capitalists

No doubt the November  EC will be considering the ADM floor resolution re the 'indefinite' suspension of a party member. It seems the Internet Committee has took no heed of the wishes of Branch delegates expressed at the Party's 2016 Annual Delegate Meeting.It is not  the EC nor the Party  that has the member suspended but the three forum moderators: and they will continue  'until ordered to do otherwise by a higher authority' Members and visitors to the forum may come to their own conclusions, but it is clear the Internet Committee has no intention of burying the hatchet and moving on and ending this  animosity.

Your comments are usually a little more sophisticated  But you must think  his comments are interesting  or relevant otherwise you  would not have a full thread on the subject.Personally I think the whole thread is a load of bollox, there are better issues we could be discussiing. I regret posting it now

Three personal insults  does not really counter his argument, tho, does it? This is the way our own position is criticised. Is it not more constructive to deal with  the substantive content of what he is saying rather than simply sticking labels on him?

Perhaps the money that would otherwise be "wasted" on the election could be used for newspaper adverts, leaflet drops, letters to the editor etc around the time of the election.Perhaps we could put a video together and promote it around election time. Online debates etc
