It goes without saying. There is no money for welfare benefits. Starmer is cutting benefits for the sick and disabled!
A Labour government can find billions for wars.
Starmer has said he will ensure the WFA (Winter Fuel Allowance) will now be paid.
Starmer has said that the maximum two child allowance would be scrapped.
Starmer wasn’t alone in scrapping the two child allowances. Farage has said he would do the same. I’m interested in knowing why Farage would be in favour of this? Any ideas?
On TikTok I watched a video where there was criticism of Starmer for this, the last part. Giving the tired old reason s, I won’t repeat here.
What was a shock that large families will receive a ‘windfall’. Is the government going to back date the benefit?
The poster was clearly trying to be alarmist and vindictive.
Can it describe the extra child allowance as a ‘windfall’?I gave up listening to his argument? If he did some research, 1m children go to school without a breakfast. Free school dinners are means tested and seen as degrading, stigmatised and humiliating, for a child who receives it.
1m children are living in poverty.From a socialist perspective, family allowance is paid to reduce real wages.

What the author of the article fails to mention as he (says Marx) eulogises about the exponential increase under capitalism (which solely he attributes it to capitalists) of productive output, capitalism has its opposite, the over supply of the ‘market’s’, leading to capitalism going into periodic
economic ‘crisis’. This happens every 10 years or so now. That capitalism is a fetter on the productive forces it created!!The REAL entrepreneurs are Socialists, we want to unleash the productive forces.

YFSIn its heyday they were 10s of thousands. I was following someone on X, who regularly posts about pro Palestinian demos, being held around the world. I haven’t seen any of late*. There was lots of criticism about people supporting Palestinians, who were LGBT. *She was exposed for having made a post on X that LGBT should be killed.
The fact was it was getting tedious reading posts that these demos were causing inconveniences to people, causing congestion and holding up ambulances. Much like the criticism of JSO.
When the farmers protested against taxation- the same didn’t apply, as their demos were planned and organised in advance?
