REPORT OF THE PROCEEDING OF THE AUTUMN SCHOOL & MEMBERSHIP MEETING OF THE WORLD SOCIALIST PARTY (INDIA) HELD AT HEAD OFFICE, OCTOBER 22 – 23, 2016:

 

• AUTUMN SCHOOL 2016: Saturday, October 22, 2 PM to 7 PM (with a tea break):

(Called to order at 2:20 PM)

 

– Participants: Binay Sarkar, Sumitra Mondal, Hari Sadhan Ghosh, Pradip Kumar Singha, Sandipan Majumdar, Dipanker Roy

 

Chairperson: Hari Sadhan Ghosh

 

General Secretary welcomed comrades.

 

• Then he began speaking on the subject: HISTORY OF ECONOMICS reading and critically elucidating the origin and evolution of the political economic categories in various historical epochs and ages. He made a threadbare analysis with historical notes on pertinent passages in our recently published pamphlet:

 

THE WORLD SOCIALIST PARTY (INDIA)

ON THE

HISTORY OF ECONOMICS

A SCIENTIFIC INVESTIGATION

INTO THE POLITICAL ECONOMY

AND ITS SWINDLER ‘ECONOMICS’

 

There was a tea break from 4: 30 PM to 5:00 PM

• AUTUMN MEMBERSHIP MEETING: Sunday, October 23, 2016 (with a tea break)

(Called to order at 1:15 PM)

 

– Present: Binay Sarkar, Hari Sadhan Ghosh, Pradip Kumar Singha, Sumitra Mondal, Dipankar Roy, Raghu Narayan Chaudhury

 

Chairperson: Sumitra Mondal

 

– Since the reading of the pamphlet remained unfinished in the School the meeting resumed the reading and discussion from where it was left.

– We have received two Membership Application Forms via email from:

1. Md. Tabrez Anwer (Patna, Bihar, India), 1 April 2016

2. Shahzada Rahim Abbas (Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan), 16 October 2016

– Remaining pending because both of them made some basic errors in answering our Questionnaire. They are still misinformed. Discussion and literature reading is going on. They have agreed to re-submit their answers after going through our positions. They have been assured that after clinching the questions and having received the right answers we will approve their membership from original dates of application.
