During the 2015 Elections our official twitter account had 600 followers. It now has 15.5k and growing. Kudos to the comrade(s) involved.

Not withstanding the comments from the strange and enigmatic 'Bob Andrews' who appears for some unknown reason to be under the radar of the moderators, members on twitter have managed to engage with thousands of members of the working class on issues relating to our class conditions. We ignore such an opportunity to our detriment.

This is a big change from when we had our BBC with Andrew Neil in April 2015 when we had just 742 Twitter followers so all kudos to those comrades who have spread the word.

Alan, don't know who runs the account but I agree, they are doing stiring work. There are a number of other cdes on twitter who seem to offer support by retweeting. Are you on twitter?

Max Hess (of KSRB) is involved in running the account.

The party's twitter account has received 500 retweets and more than a 1000 likes for this tweet. We need to direct some resources to this activity. I believe a  financial input will increase the accounts profile. Would any branch or EC member like to raise this with the EC??   NB Apolgies for the large image but not sure how to reduce it apart from  photoshop  The Socialist Party‏Verified account @OfficialSPGB  16 Nov 2016MoreAre you about to tell us “Socialism was tried in Russia” or “Look at Venezuela” etc? More publicity thanks to the Party's Twitter account.  Now 22.1k followers!  Food for thought on resources? Perhaps some support from the EC?  http://www.nationalreview.com/g-file/452410/new-york-times-communism-series-red-century-lies-about-socialism
