President Donald Trump offered a check or political payback of 5,000 dollars to every American citizen if the Republicans win the midterm election. It is just a desperate move to save the GOP and himself; it is like the dividend distribution of a corporation, which might cost more than 1.3 trillion dollars

This war in the Middle East is opening a car of worms

    A can of worms

The Middle East is increasingly demonstrating how interconnected modern capitalism has become. A conflict in one part of the world can disrupt energy, shipping, production and prices almost everywhere.
Perhaps the real can of worms is that there is no genuinely “local” war anymore in a globally interconnected capitalist system.

That is the conception that most left-winger do not understand that imperialism ( o expansionism ) is not one country, it is the whole capitalist system, or any capitalist country small or large is expansionist or imperialist and that anti imperialism is not anti capitalism. They also think that expansionist is only armed conflict, the struggle for markets within the capitalist is war too. The USA is a large producer and exporter of oil and the price of that commodity went up, it is not price, it is the world market system that controls price

I think this is an important distinction. Opposition to the foreign policy or expansion of one particular capitalist state is not necessarily opposition to capitalism itself.

Competition does not begin when the shooting starts. Capitalist enterprises and states are already competing for markets, investment, resources, trade routes and economic advantage. Armed conflict is one possible expression of those antagonisms, but the underlying competition exists before a war begins and continues after it ends.

This is also why simply dividing the world into “imperialist” and “anti-imperialist” states can be misleading. A smaller capitalist country does not cease to operate within the competitive world market simply because it has less economic or military power than a larger one.

The oil example illustrates another part of this. Oil does not have one national price determined independently by each producing country. Producers and consumers participate in an interconnected world market, so disruption or anticipated disruption in one region can affect prices far beyond that region.

For workers, perhaps the more fundamental question is therefore not which capitalist state is the imperialist and which is the anti-imperialist one, but why production, resources and international relations are organised through competing capitals and states in the first place.

Anti-imperialism directed against one state is not necessarily anti-capitalism.

The Panama Canal traffic cut due to drought from El Niño

Donald Trump said that the Chinese want to control the Panama Canal, but the Chinese built a Megaport in Peru, and the new right-wing government of Peru does not want to close the megaport.

The Panama Canal fee went from 50,000 dollars to 5,000,000.00 dollars

This is what they call civilisation

Malcolm X’s Thoughts on Slavery and Civilisation

    Malcolm X
“You can’t make a wise man a slave, you can’t make a warrior a slave. When you and I came here, or rather when we were brought here, we were brought here from a society that was highly civilised, our culture was at the highest level, and we were warriors—we knew no fear. How could they make us slaves?”

As well, the civilisation of the Mayas and Incas was highly civilised

Rapid Houthi advances in Yemen pose massive strategic risks for Saudi Arabia in the Gulf.
Published: September 16, 20261:48 pmm EDT

An advance by Yemen’s Houthi rebels, which has included the targeting of Saudi cities and infrastructure, has quickly complicated a widening Middle East war.

Not only has it all but unravelled a 2022 truce putting a lid on Yemen’s civil war – in which the Iran-aligned Houthis were fighting a Saudi-led coalition – but the seizure of territory next to the Red Sea has further threatened Saudi energy exports. On Sept. 13, Saudi Arabia and other Arab Gulf nations were due to take part in crucial Omani-hosted talks with Iran in a bid to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. But they were called off, seemingly over attacks by both the Houthis and Iraqi groups aligned with Tehran.

The shield of America is the continuation of the Monroe Doctrine. Isolation at home and expansionism overseas. The same old crap to make profits from the sweat of the working class

The thieves and drug dealers united to steal natural resources among themselves, to exploit the peasants; within drug production, there is also economic exploitation.

To combat drug trafficking and communism, some of them have been part of the drug cartels; most presidents of Colombia have been related to the drug business

The new president of Colombia was a defence lawyer for several drug cartel leaders and money laundering cases, and he is part of the Shield of the Americas.

Tren de Aragua is another pretext for invasions and stealing oil and gas, and now the Cartel del Sol has vanished, according to the USA justice department and they were saying that Nicolas Maduro was the head of that organisation; as soon as they kidnapped him , the organisation disappeared from the face of the earth
