ParticipantYou have to make a judgment as to whether content owners will pursue you for copyright infringement. A handful of Youtube video montages aren't top of the courts priorities though believe it or not. You also have considerable rights under fair use.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_dealing_in_United_Kingdom_law

But that's capitalismThere is such a thing as "fair use" not sure if it applies to UK copyright though.. If you're doing the video to practise editing I'd carry on and if it is put to official use the relevant permissions can be sought.

InactiveI could avoid problems by removing any reference to BBC or CH4.As I have done with this. How can anyone know where it is from?https://www.dropbox.com/s/kl8zflkw1ebulde/CliffordComment2.mp4?dl=0I added the reference to 'channel 4 comment' so it can be removed

ParticipantVin, there is a greater likelihood of Party members who use SPOPEN answering your question. Unless they are lurking, the majority of Party members on both Spintcom and Spopen don't visit this forum.

ParticipantSocialist Standard July 1986 page 19 (or page numbered 134)advertises a series of five lectures on marxian economics by Hardy at Marchmont Community Centrehttps://www.scribd.com/doc/97135506/Socialist-Standard-1986-982-JulThis matches the list in the videohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upoHgSGdifA&t=0m28sIssues from 1986-7 do not list any audio cassettes for sale so presumably tapes lists were available on request.
