Some comradely advice: up your production values!

At least for the one talk I tried to listen to (The Howard Moss one) the sound quality sounded like it was recorded at the bottom of a swimming pool! If you want some up-to-date advice on cheap but high-quality recorders and lapel mics, I can be of service. Badly done stuff is not a good look.

Howard’s talk was recorded at Summer School through the venue’s microphones, so in a different way to the other talks which are much clearer.

“Howard’s talk was recorded at Summer School through the venue’s microphones, so in a different way to the other talks which are much clearer.”

Sadly, Howard’s talk is a bit echoey but it is still listenable.

I guess it’s a variation on the old joke directed at the SPGB :

‘We knew they held their party conferences in telephone boxes but now it appears they hold their public meetings in echo chambers . . .’

It’s the way I tell them.
