Million Mask March

Apparently there was a Million Mask March in London on Guy Fawkes Day. According to the report in the Evening Standard while one demonstrator said:

“It’s the problem in every major country, they spend money on the wrong things.”

another had something better to say:

A member of a group called The Zeitgeist Movement, giving his name only as Adam, said: “I don’t think anybody agrees with the act of being violent.”

This was in reference to disorder which broke out at a previous Million Mask March.

“When we are marching against something it’s a massive angry energy. If we marched for something imagine the energy that could have,” he said.

He went on to describe his belief that through scientific advances, all “human needs” can be met, without the need for a monetary system.
