In Canterbury years ago I was by my Socialist Standard stand, while a few yards away people were gathering round and singing along with a busker playing John Lennon’s “Imagine.” When he finished, they dispersed, giving me cold looks as they went on their way.
Irony indeed.

The same people calling for an a vote, election are the same people who told Scots after 10 years they can’t have a referendum for independence, the same people who are telling Remainers you can’t have a second referendum because that would be undemocratic.
A man is fearing for his life as he resembles the killer of CEO killed last week. Whoever, he’s published on x saying hate speech and misinformation is free speech.
