Protests have started at the very beginning of the new government, and a so called anarchist capitalist is going to use the repressive forces of the state in order to repress the workers, and probably is going to be more repressive than the prior ones. They are going to do the same thing that was done in Chile by imposing austerity and monetarism which the left of capital falsely calls neoliberalism

An Anarchist Capitalist using the state apparatus to repress the working class, and to impose austerity on them. Isn’t it a contradiction ? He should have abolished the state by a decree. The reality is difference, capitalism can not exist without a superstructure.
PS: Buenos Aires is a city which has many bookstores but it look that they have not read anything about anarchist capitalism

The Congress, the court, including some of the followers of Milei rejected his austerity plan
“The General Confederation of Labour (CGT), Argentina’s main trade union federation, brought the legal challenge. The federation, which has called for a general nationwide strike on 24 January, is a major thorn in the side of the newly elected president, who argues that Argentina’s economy is hampered by regulations such as those he proposed to scrap.”
Important to note the role of unions in resisting and defending workers rights here, however, Milei had 55% of the vote, so he must have some popular support, but we’ll need to see if it survives triple digit inflation. Doubtless he’ll start on about ‘the enemy within’ and resort to more oppressive tactics.
Milei rules by decree, interestingly, he doesn’t have a legislative majority: in some ways this is more like Allende than some would admit, but he will have the backing of some powerful people (apparently, including the US).
This will turn into a test of strength for the Unions, but as the article notes, Pinochet won out in the 70’s – I don’t know if our anarcho-capitalist will resort to wholesale slaughter, but I wouldn’t rule it out.
Milei is in Davos where he has been opening his big mouth:
“ Argentina’s libertarian President Javier Milei praised free markets and slammed socialism at Davos during the first overseas tour for the self-proclaimed “anarcho-capitalist”, who is battling to fix a major economic crisis at home. (…) “Socialism is a phenomenon that creates poverty,” he said in a special address to a large and well-heeled crowd at the World Economic Forum, where he is later set to meet International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief Kristalina Georgieva. “Free enterprise capitalism is the only tool we have to end hunger and poverty,” he added.”
Today’s Times reported his speech under the headline “‘Anarcho-capitalist’ leader cheered by elites at Davos”. They would, wouldn’t they?

It reveals his “Anarcho-capitalism” to be old-fashioned 19th century free trade liberalism. In fact the term he uses the most to describe what he is in favour of is “free trade capitalism”.
This will be the passage that the elites cheered the most:
“capitalist successful business people are social benefactors who, far from appropriating the wealth of others, contribute to the general well-being. Ultimately, a successful entrepreneur is a hero.”

No more Parrilladas, Vacíos, Mollejas, Chorizos, Entrañas, Pork ribs, and Malbec Argentinians are becoming vegetarians due to the high cost of living.
If this is the only game in town, I would prefer to play another game known as socialism.
It is ironic that a society with so many Leninists, Castroists, Guevaraists, Anarchists, Trotskyists and Stalinists organizations the workers have elected an extreme anti communist right winger.

Women are the first opposition of the so called Anarchist capitalists. In Argentina it has been proven that “Anarchism capitalism” is a total failure and it can not be implemented
I do not think that the main problem of our world is Liberalism, Neo liberalism, presidents, political parties, leaders, right or left, the problem is capitalism ( corporate or state capitalism ) Liberalism has never existed due to the fact that the state has always participated in the economic affairs of all class societies, it did not even exist in its purity in England ( Manchesterists ) and France .
Liberal is a expression widely used in the USA without knowing its meaning and origin, even more, they are mixing communism and liberalism, which shows that they do not know what they are talking about. The case of Argentina is a typical example that capitalism without an oppressive apparatus known as the state can not exist in a class society
Nobody can hold the bull by the horns. Both currencies have been devaluated in Argentina. An Anarcho capitalist ‘government” has not been able to eliminate the central bank and the national currency, and inflation, on the contrary, inflation has increased
