I like theDeLeon's Xmas messages. I don't think there is any need to bring more misery upon people during the xmas perion  by opposing it as  a Christian celebration. I will buy and receive gifts but it will not be for christianity.  As DeLeon wrote: "The merriment that one must attempt, and the cheery greeting that is mechanically given, cannot be said to indicate a heart that overflows with bubbling joy, or a spirit that is exuberant with lightness.
