This article gives a fairly accurate description of Marx's views on the subject:

except for the use of the term "transitional society" to describe socialism/communism before full free access was possible (Marx never used the term and certainly not in this sense) and an uncritical acceptance of "labour certificates" as if they were relevant today (whatever might have been the case in Marx's day and despite the criticisms that have been made of them which, to be fair, the article notes in passing). But it is historically accurate that Marx did mention them and sort of endorse them.

Despite this, the article explains why value and money won't exist, in fact can't exist, in socialist/communist society (which, surprisingly for a Leninist group, they recognise are equivalent and that Marx and Engels did not distinguish between) basically because "once relations of production become communal, products become communal also"  and that labour is not measured by "socially necessary labour time" but by "actual labour time" and as actual not abstract labour..
