A new survey conducted by the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit organization, found 59 percent of total Americans would rather live in a capitalist country, with 34 percent preferring a socialist nation. However, 44 percent of millennials (also known as Generation Y or the Net Generation, are the demographic cohort that directly follows Generation X. What, exactly, is the Millennial generation those born between 1982 and 2004) would rather live in a socialist nation than a capitalist country.
We have the audience, one that is receptive, if albeit, still ignorant of what socialism means.Our task is to reach as many of those who identify with socialism and explain what it is and how to achieve it.
