What is Transition? The Transition movement is a community led initiative in a positive response to the increasing pressures of climate change on our lives. It aims to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels through:Greater connection with our neighbours building resilient local communities · Localised economy – buying local goods and services from local people · Greater self sufficiency – from growing your own food to generating your own electricity · Reducing the cost and environment impact of fuel bills and transport · Reducing our waste – through recycling and up-cycling · Re-using and sharing products and skills….The focus is on positive small steps we can take that will make our local communities stronger and less dependent on external supplies of goods and services brought in by fossil fuels….what do you agree…. / disagree with….

quote There may of course be non socialist organisations in the sense of being organisations intent upon bringing about the restoration of capitalism. I would say they should be permitted to spout their ideas without any kind of restriction being put on them,  They are not going to make much headway though. Try persuading an ex-slave that she needs the return of a slave society. But difficult, isnt it? quoteyour answer to non-socialist organisations role in a socialist / communistic society is answered within the / your quote above

yes i would agree with full freedom of speech and no restrictions on non – socialist parties / organisations – to be a truly free socialist society – open debate across the whole political spectrum

are we doing a leaflet…. Trump protest his inauguration uk / real socialism….Friday 20th January -Trump's inauguration–will see protests across the world. Here in Britain are 140 US bases or military facilities. US (Pentagon/CIA/NSA) signals base Croughton, just 8 miles west of Buckingham and already of global importance, is set for further massive expansion. US global military hegemony is bad enough–but in the hands of this volatile bigot, who knows what will happen? Join Oxford CND and MK Stop the War at 12.00 outside the base. Bring banners, placards, musical instruments, food and drink. Dress for warmth. Postcode NN13 5NQ. OS ref. SP 557 335. From MK take the A421 Buckingham ring road and Tingewick by-pass. At Finmere turn R on the B4031, after 4 miles cross the A43 at a roundabout. Continue on the B4031 towards Croughton: the base is on the L after 1.5 miles. Park carefully–wear hi-viz if you have it.
