Thus reducing the illusionary concept of created money, whilst encouraging utilisation of need above want, or to give it a modern spin, environmentalism and self sufficiency.Unfortunately this would be pushing in the wrong direction.Capitalism is a system fuelled by the extraction of surplus labour not by debt. Promoting such a scheme would be another pointless excercise that distracts from the real tasks. Socialism is not "self suffciency" (there cannot really be such a thing) but extending the socialised nature that already exists in production into the sphere of distribitution. (i.e all that is produced is already the product of the whole of society so we wish to make it the property of the whole of society as well).

ParticipantHi David Dundale. If you must continue to pester us can I please suggest you take a course in basic literacy. The above is barely readable and doesn't make much sense…

ParticipantI think this video definitely has something we should be using. Instead of pointing out why people are wrong, which only strengthens their beliefs, we should ask them to explain why they believe what they do, the process of having to come up with an explanation softens peoples views

We could publish literature, hold meetings and debates throughout the country, write to the press and state our case wherever possible on the media. We could run weekend educational conferences, sell tapes and pamphlets, hand out leaflets, contest elections, and discuss our ideas with people wherever we can.Who's game?
