WORLD SOCIALIST PARTY (NEW ZEALAND) – General Administrative Committee
Meeting held at 51 Weymouth Road, Manurewa, Auckland
DATE: Sunday 7th April 2013
CHAIRPERSON: M Gribble. Moved V Lovatt, 2nd T Lovatt.
OPEN: 2:10pm.
PRESENT: (Committee) A Coombs, M Gribble, T Lovatt, C Matene.
(Members) G Coffey, V Lovatt, C Malins, J Ryder.
APOLOGIES: M Grayson.
PREVIOUS MINUTES/ERRORS & OMISSIONS:
Minutes of previous meeting read. C Matene moved the previous minutes be accepted, V Lovatt 2nd.
DISCUSSION ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES:
1. Wikipedia site for WSPNZ – not registered yet.
2. Rick Barber contacted the party mobile phone with a text.
3. Still working on website.
CORRESPONDENCE:
1. Socialist Party Canada – Secretary’s report for May. Received via email with thanks.
LITERATURE SECRETARY’S REPORT:
1) The April Socialist Standards have not arrived yet. I'll post them out as soon as they do.
2) Colin Robertson has decided not to re-new his sub. for the Standard this year, and has asked to be taken off the mailing list. I hope he has not lost interest in the Party. Maybe one of you could contact him and remind him that he can read the Standard on-line if he wants to keep up the interest.
TREASURER’S REPORT:
WSPNZ contact details are available online and in telephone directories for Auckland and Wellington. M Gribble presented and moved that any outstanding accounts be paid, and the treasurer’s report be accepted, V Lovatt 2nd.
GENERAL BUSINESS:
1. Discussion on party assets and options.
