ParticipantNot a good day for Cops.
Mark Kennedy*, an undercover officer who infiltrated leftwing groups for seven years, had a sexual relationship with Wilson lasting more than a year, without telling her that he was a police officer who had been sent to spy on her and the political groups she supported.
He was one of 139 undercover police officers who have spied on more than 1,000 political groups since 1968.
*real name. I was looking for him pseudonym?

ParticipantIt later emerged Mr Kennedy had sexual relationships with as many as 10 other women during his deployment.
Another Wayne Couzens, only he doesn’t murder his victims?

ParticipantIt wasn’t just left wing groups.
I had some idea that Spycops infiltrated the Justice for Steven Lawrence campaign. Then one of the women who had been deceived by an undercover police officer, had worked with a campaign to stop deaths of Afro Caribbean while in police custody which was actively undermined by undercover police.March 14, 2025 at 7:55 am #257501ALB
KeymasterAccording to Wikipedia the ongoing but slow-moving Undercover Policy Inquiry:
“As of April 2018 the inquiry has confirmed that undercover police had infiltrated the following groups and movements:
Anarchist groups, Animal Liberation Front, Anti-Apartheid Movement, Anti-Fascist Action, Big Flame, Black Power movement, Brixton Hunt Saboteurs, Anglia Ruskin Churchill Society (Young Conservatives), Colin Roach Centre, Dambusters Mobilising Committee, Dissent!, Earth First!, Essex Hunt Saboteurs, Friends of Freedom Press Ltd, Globalise Resistance, Independent Labour Party, Independent Working Class Association, International Marxist Group, International Socialists, Irish National Liberation Solidarity Front, London Animal Action, London Animal Rights Coalition, London Boots Action Group, London Greenpeace, Militant, No Platform, Antifa, Operation Omega, Reclaim the Streets, Red Action, Republican Forum, Revolutionary Socialist Students Federation, Socialist Party (England and Wales), Socialist Workers Party, South London Animal Movement (SLAM), Tri-Continental, Troops Out Movement, Vietnam Solidarity Campaign, West London Hunt Saboteurs, Workers Revolutionary Party, Young Haganah, Young Liberals, Youth against Racism in Europe.”March 14, 2025 at 1:39 pm #257507james19
Participant@JustStopOil must be being infiltrated by Spycops, after Police arrested a man, who was merely thinking about joining in a JSO motorway protest?
Just stop oil activists being arrested for organising a protest on Zoom.Little is being said nowadays about Anti War in Gaza, support for the Palestinians, their weekly demonstrations in London? Might be that the State genocide by the IDF is winding down and the left wing attempts at recruiting disaffected workers into their ranks has reached its peak? Can we safely assume that they have also been infiltrated by Spycops?
Both organisations didn’t exist back then. I do hope that they, the Spycops, have crushed the van, used to take protesters to demonstrations and then home? You can say that it’s one of their MO (modus operandi) 😂

KeymasterActually, the anti-Gaza war demonstrations in London haven’t entirely petered out. In fact there’s one today. We shan’t be leafletting it as the majority of those left on them now are Muslims concerned about the fate of their co-religionists, not a group likely to be interested in socialist ideas.

ParticipantIn its heyday they were 10s of thousands. I was following someone on X, who regularly posts about pro Palestinian demos, being held around the world. I haven’t seen any of late*. There was lots of criticism about people supporting Palestinians, who were LGBT. *She was exposed for having made a post on X that LGBT should be killed.
The fact was it was getting tedious reading posts that these demos were causing inconveniences to people, causing congestion and holding up ambulances. Much like the criticism of JSO.
When the farmers protested against taxation- the same didn’t apply, as their demos were planned and organised in advance? -
