I had a letter published once more in WW

    https://weeklyworker.co.uk/worker/1231/letters/

They continue their custom of crediting me as some sort of  “spokesperson” for the party although i never sign off my emails to them  in such a way

The letter was not in response to its reference to ourselves which i had urged be replied to – a missed opportunity there for two letters to appear.

You claim in your letter that ‘Falling population and the shift in demographics….will result in its own rise in poverty.’ How do you know? What evidence is their to support this statement? It is something you read regularly in the Guardian, but where is the proof? The fact is, we just don’t know. It is as they say ‘unchartered territory’, or in layman’s terms, pure bloody guesswork.

The continual restocking of the labour market from overseas has led directly to the stagnation of wages. The competition for affordable accommodation has pushed up rents. These are facts.

‘…the need is for more immigration – much more’. Yes, if you are a capitalist or a landlord.
