ParticipantContradictions within members of the capitalist class . Ellon Musk against the so called economic adviser of Donald Trump
It is not only Musk vs Gates, it is Ellon Musk against them. The tariff war is hurting the profits of some members of the capitalist class, some members of the capitalist class voted for it, but they did not expect that it was going to be against against all capitalist countries

KeymasterAccording to this, the Trump administration is pursuing the same policy of restoring manufacturing as long advocated by the trade union movement and Labour Party leftwingers here.

————————————————————————————————————–They are dreaming about a past that is already gone and it will not comeback. The old days when the USA ( and England ) was an industrial powerhouse, and it was the master of the universe is already gone, and its domination around the whole world is declining, and it is isolating itself
During Trump first term some companies comeback, or establish a dual status having factories in the USA and factories in China, but that situation has been eliminated too by China, and also this time Trump is a lame duck, he is one time president and he can not be elected again only if they change the constitution or establish himself as a dictator thru an executive order, and probably, the democrats and some independents groups are going to win the next partial and presidential election
Moving factories from China, Vietnam or Mexico cost a lot of money, and it takes time to be done, and due to the uncertainty of the Tarif many companies are not going to take the risk by moving their operations, they would prefer to stay where they are located and based on a global economic there is not such thing as a national economy, in some way, the USA is only an assembler
That is only the pretext, it is all geopolitical and it is part of the confrontation between the USA and China, and China is holding the frypan by the handle, and their tentacles are extending all over the earth, and they are monopolizing more than 85%
of the mining of rare earth which is needed for modern production

https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2025/04/09/wwkv-a09.htmlThe USA government paused the tariff for 90 days and wants to negotiate with every individual country, it does show that many corporations are not going to move the operations without been sure that the tariff is going to continue. The USA has imposed tariff to several countries that are having commercial trades with China

———————————————————————————————–
Some members of the left and their organizations instead of needing eyeglasses, they need binoculars. Tariffs have produced the laid off of thousands of workers, and many governments and capitalists have used the tariff as a pretext to lay off workers, impose heavy burden on the ones that they have kept, and many austerity plan have been implemented. Capitalism will continue operating in the same way it was before and after the implementation of the tariff. Tariffs and taxations are issues that do not concern to the world working class, inter-capitalists disputes are issues that do not concern to the working class either. The main concern of the working class is socialism

Contradictions between members of the capitalist class
Probably, Elon Musk invested money on the wrong political party and the wrong sector of the US capitalist class
When the shit hits the fan it spread all over. Elon Musk is part of the sector of the capitalist class that is promoting Trump and helped him to take control of the state apparatus, ( the workers are only pawns in the capitalist chess game ) and he is a powerful man, more powerful than Bezos and Gates, others capitalists, and he is already making public several state secrets, and he had access to the government personal files of many members of the US congress, judges and presidents. like the Italian mafias used to say: He is singing like a canary

ParticipantIt is not a fight between two individuals or two members of the capitalist class, it is a fight between two sectors of the capitalist class. Attack the message do not attack the messenger

KeymasterThat’s the dilemma of this new breed of populist parties. Financed by capitalists who want a free hand to make profits as they think fit, they are still required to get working class votes if they are going to win political control.
But, like most workers, those with reactionary views still want jobs with good wages and still want the state to still provide pensions and social security payments. So the political side of the populist movement has to promise these. Hitler understood this too which was why he had the word “socialist” in the name of his party.
At some stage the same Musk-Trump split must be on the cards in Britain too with the ReformUK party.

——————————————————————-It is really pathetic that workers are expecting that their own exploiters can resolve their own problems. It is like nominating Count Dracula as the head of the blood bank. These populists leaders, political parties and capitalists have an enormous support within the working class, and the disunity within the working class is becoming wider.
Adold Hitler advocated for ‘national socialism’, but the new tendency known as economic nationalism is openly spreading anti socialism and anti communism, probably , stronger than during the time McCarthy and the Cold War, it is really getting scary within the ranks of the working class, because many workers are becoming mouthpiece of the ruling class

ParticipantAttack the message but do not attack the messenger. A state coup or palace coup . Like in Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia, Africa, and the soviets troops in Eastern europe

ParticipantThey are arresting everybody including legal citizen of the USA, therefore, peoples are living in fear, and all peoples who are not white they are considered criminals, a civil violation become a criminal violation and a pretext for deportation. Millions of reactionaries workers are supporting this nightmare

Muslim travel ban is back under a different name, and foreign students are been blocked under the pretext of anti semitism, but there is more anti semitism outside of the colleges and universities

ParticipantDeploying the Marines to another state is a violation of the Posse Comitatus Act. So much talking about the bourgeois constitution, and they are violating most clauses of the constitution. It must show to the workers the violent and repressive nature of the capitalist state, and that they can violate their own rules, and treaties. Not worth the paper . As the Apaches said: We have signed hundred of treaties with the while men and all of them have been violated. In 1903 the US Supreme Court said that the US congress is allowed to violate the indian treaties
