    Often we guage the effect and impact of social movements upon our own parochial perspective. Many union activists stereotype trade unionism very much as impotent and passive – their leaders are deemed traitors or collaborators. Is it the same elsewhere? Following a link on Libcom, i just read about South Korean trade union resistance to the government and the calibre of their union leaders.

    South Korean Labor Strikes Back

    Today they will be protesting in a mass demonstration in Seoul so i will be looking tomorrow at the news reports of it to see if they can walk the walk as well as they talk the talk

      I think  they have already endured much with great courage and fortitude.
