I was just leaving a second-hand bookshop the other day having made a few interesting purchases when I spotted on a top shelf three bound volumes of Socialist Standard. Wow! It’s not often you see something like that. So of course I bought the volumes

Ross Bradshaw sent me that link two weeks ago. My bad that I did not pass it on.

I think Andrew Whitehead cribbed that comment about Jack Fitzgerald from the SPGB wiki page. You wouldn’t get that idea of Fitzgerald simply from reading old bound volumes of the Standard.
