This is from series of publications I get regularly from,
    International Communist Party

    What Distinguishes our Party
A lot of reports and Texts here,
which if I am interesetd I usually convert to PDFs for easier reading. (Hint for LibreOffice users)

This is the last one in that I got in an email tonight.
    Lenin, the Organic Centralist

Organic Centralism in Lenin, the Left and the Actual Life of the Party

More knowledgemental comrades than me, may wish to hang some flesh upon those bare bones.

I slip away unseen to the graveyard of hopes, forthwith.

By coincidence someone just send me this on the birth of council communism:

Head Office also gets that stuff fom the “International Communist Party”. Not only is it turgid but it shows just how far off beam are some of the “Communit Left”. This lot are dyed-in-the-wool Bordigists, i.e super-Leninists who contemptuously reject democacy as a mere “counting of noses” and so make Lenin stand for “organic” rather than “democratic” centralism.

Their only saving grace is that they know what the future society beyond capitalism is (a classless, stateless, moneyless, wageless world society of no-ownership) but this is far outweighed by how they envisage it being established — by a small compact and highly diciplined vanguard party leading “the insurgent masses”.

I wondered if/when you would pick it up. Yes agreed,I have found it very difficult to have any conversation with them in the past beyond their ‘saving grace’ without catching a whiff of potential gulags looming on the way to it.

One of the most popular ones is the International Communist Current. They have created the concept of the left of capital which means that there is one left that is pro-capitalist, and there is another left that is socialist

There’s an article on Anton Pannekoek in the latest edition of the US left wing magazine Jacobin. It’s quite a good assessment of his theoretical views and political positions:
