Thatcher sold of gas, telecom's etc, saying that the State had no business running industry.
Yet today, many are now owned by other Governments?
A case of the Tories, pulling the wool over our eyes.
Actually, from an economic popint of view, de-nationalisation was really inter-nationalisation, i.e allowing "foreign" capital to invest in them.
