Spending funds on improving Head Office

At a time when party funds are higher relative to costs of labour and material than ever, I would like to propose spending funds on improving head office. High party funds relative to costs of labour and material aren't a situation likely to continue for ever. There was some discussion over investing party funds in high yield accounts or stocks. This would seem to me to be less controversial investment.

Some of the improvements I would propose would have a positive effect on head office would be;

Replacing the skylight with better lighting which would also reduce noise levels.

Better sound proofing of the whole building reducing noise from traffic at the front and the neighbours at night.

Better public access and exits to the front and rear of the building more suitable for public events such as music.

Better climate control e.g. air conditioning.

Better disabled access to the front and rear including ground floor step-free access to toilets and lift facility.

Bigger projection screen.

Remember the party has never had high funds relative to low labour and material costs so postponing desirable things like better disabled access means it will cost more or the party will be less able to afford it in the long run.
