Article in the Guardian about a large social housing estate next to the Olympic Park being systematically shut down in preparation to be sold for private development.

    http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/sep/23/why-occupying-boarded-up-east-london-council-house-social-housing

"The Carpenters Open House will run until 28 September. All are welcome to come and view the house and engage in discussions about how to address the housing crisis"

Might be a good opportunity for some members from London to pay a visit and have a chat to the residents.

Class War have been running a campaign against another aspect of this sort of thing: so-called "poor doors" in luxury flats for the residents of the "social housing" there that the developers have had toagree to  provide to get planning permission from the local council.http://www.classwarparty.org.uk/class-war-action/

In #4 near the end of the you tube video, a young woman said "…….. I've never voted…….. I'm never going to vote, ever…… It's all fixed………. doesn't matter who you vote for……"  I recon that's a que for action.
