Got to record for posterity this position taken up by an Argentine trot group on that banner incident:

If the USA is the cradle of several stupid conspiracy theories, Argentina is the child of their conspiracy theories; all social and economic analysis is based on conspiracy theories.
Everything is blamed on the Zionists and the CIA; it looks like the CIA is an economic system instead of a government agency, which is not different to the old KGB, the Mossad and the Cuban G., who have played the same games in Latin America.
The forest fires that take place in Patagonia are blamed on the Zionists and Jewish tourists, but they never mention that mining in that region and in Chile is producing climate and land disasters, and capitalism is destroying the forest to produce profits and dry lands and dry tree produce fires, and the sun is the spark. The conspiracy theory is that Israel and the USA are going to create another nation in Patagonia, which is totally false; there is not even biblical evidence for that. The USA has military bases all over Latin America; they do not need another Jewish stronghold in the area.
The extraction of Lithium and Uranium in Chile is destroying rivers and lands, as well as in Brazil; farming and agriculture are destroying the Amazon. None blame this phenomenon on the capitalist mode of production; everything is blamed on the Empire ( El imperio ), but the local capitalist class is never mentioned either. Anti-imperialism is the answer to all these problems, and most so-called anti-imperialists were collaborating with Russian and Chinese imperialism.
The Mapuches have been expelled from the lands, and their territories have been militarised by a left-wing government (People’s Army) because their lands have mineral deposits and petroleum. Due to this situation, the Mapuche voted as punishment against the left-wingers, and now they are called Facho Pobres ( Poor fascists )
The war in the Falklands ( Islas Malvinas ) was a pretext used by an unpopular government ( The Juntas ) to revive nationalism among the population and obtain the support of the workers, and hundreds of people were killed; the Argentine army was not capable of defeating the British army, and it was well known that the USA was going to support England despite that fact the the Juntas had helped the USA during their war in Central America, the Juntas collapsed and the USA was defeated in Central America. At present everything is being reversed, and right wing populists governments are replacing all the left-wing governments ( Marea Rosa ) falsely called socialists.
