You have to wonder if something is brewing up as one bunch of robber barons looks to muscle in on the property of another bunch of the same. Could another war be in the offing?

Mr Milei feels a sense of urgency because Mr Trump will not be in office forever, Argentina will hold a presidential election next year (Mr Milei’s approval rating is only 34 per cent) and, most importantly, the Falklands will start drilling for oil in just two years. The Sea Lion field holds 1.7 billion barrels of proven reserves.
