The Chavistas were saying that Marx did not know anything about Colonialism and about other parts of the world besides Europe, but the reality has hit them on the face because there are hundred of articles written by Marx and Engels on Colonialism and others part of the world, and the ethnological notebooks of Marx shows that he was working in another mode of production, and in Africa, and Asia. The problem was when the new MEGA project published Marx letter on Simon Bolivar who was perfectly described by Marx.
PS The so called Institute of Marxism Leninism did not want to pay too much attention to Marx ethnological notebooks because the Asiatic mode of production was similar to Russian state capitalism. Marx goes beyond Lewis, and Engels book on the family ( The Marxist Humanists considered it as Engels legacy, but not Marx legacy )
