International Online Meetings

With current technology, are there any intentions to hold international World Socialist Movement meetings via the internet to co-ordinate or exchange ideas for global action and propoganda? Combined pamphlets perhaps that cover issues effecting the working class globally?

The internet dept has is currently involved in drafting some guidelines with regards to electronic meetings. Hopefully this will lead to more regular correspondence between overseas members.In the eighties there was a combined journal called ‘world socialism’ still worth looking those up.

I have them, they are great and it was sad they stopped. I think its important to foster and maintain international contacts especially within our own companion parties and I really feel a news page for the party is essential within the Standard for news within our own organisation, especially from comrades abroad.We are fighting a common enemy and share common goals and it does ALL of us good to see and remind ourselves that the struggle for socialism is a global one.

in Italy, we try to meet once a month via Skype.we are in 3, so this way is still possible for us.
