Good coverage on US and UK post-Boris’s recent announcement of billions more pounds for the military, plus externalities – which are rarely mentioned in MSM – and the constant creep to greater, but often disguised, control of populations.
Yes Alan – I read this one yesterday and it covers a wider area. There’s no way a single article can cover every aspect, but on the whole I find Cook’s views, which are always based on real evidence, very apt. The final sentence hits the nail on the head – about what is so often ignored –‘ the war economy is as unsustainable as everything else our societies are currently founded on. Sooner or later the war machine is going to run out of fuel.’ In my words, we’re heading nowhere very fast.
